EKU Student Advocates
If you are a student going through the disciplinary process, we encourage you to utilize an Advocate. The EKU Student Conduct Advocates have been specially trained to be a valuable resource to you. Please read their biographies below, and contact the person you wish to be your Advocate directly.
"Madelynne Banderman is a sophomore studying Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. She is originally from the Kansas City area, but has lived in Kentucky for over ten years and currently resides in Berea. She is passionate about helping and leading others. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, getting coffee with friends, listening to music and is continuing to perfect the perfect pie crust recipe."
"Hello! My name is Ashley Shofner and I am a sophomore Public Health major from Bardstown, KY. I am currently involved in different organizations on campus, including the Honors Program and the Student Alumni Ambassadors. I also work through the Admissions department on campus as a Recruitment Ambassador, giving tours to prospective students. In my free time I like to enjoy binging shows or movies on Netflix/Hulu, cooking, reading, writing, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and just hanging out with my friends."
"Hello! My name is Loren Schuler and this is my second year as a part of the Student Judicial Committee. I am a Junior and a Business Management major here at EKU. I am also involved in the Student Activities Council and Dance Theater on campus. I enjoy binge watching Netflix and Hulu and listening to music (especially Shawn Mendes)! I am looking forward to continuing as a Student Advocate this year and hope to help as many students as I can! Go Colonels!"
"My name is Alexis, and I am a third year student here at EKU. Currently I am majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology, and would like to attend Law School after graduation. I enjoy hiking, camping, and travelling. I am originally from Ohio, but have enjoyed making Kentucky home!"
"My name is Elizabeth Meyer and I am a sophomore medical laboratory science major. This year is my first year as a Resident Advisor and a Student Conduct Advocate and I absolutely love what I do.
